In eleven years in my job I have seen the best of humanity, and the more commonly the worst. Those who know me well are aware of how jaded and cynical I am. I have had to deal with situations and events so severe that nothing shocks me any more. I still live with the nightmares off what I have witnessed, moments burned into my memory that will haunt me to the day I die. That is why it was such a suprise when I heard the following news article. Those of you here in Australia will no doubt be of the events of yesterday, I do not know if this has reached international media. Just when I thought that nothing I could see or hear could shock me, sicken me, or horrify me I am unfortunately proved wrong.

So in the famous words... "Stop the World, this is where I get off"

Well folks, the last few months have been exhausting to say the least! Shoots with and have taken up nearly all of my spare time, so for the next month or so I plan on sitting back, relaxing, and occaisionally going through the backlog of old images looking for any unfound treasures. But apart from that I will not be submitting much work for a little while, I intend on getting back into the swing of writing and other things. Thankyou to all the brave souls that have worked with me over the past year. My curse of freezing cold weather, difficult locations, night shooting etc doesn't make the work easy.

Anyway. I hope the new year brings good things to good people.
